Police Officer of the Year

Help Us Find Our Top Cop

The search is on for Pine Rivers’ top Police Officer with nominations open for the Rotary Club of Pine Rivers Annual Police Officer of the Year Award. You can nominate an Officer at any time, with an award ceremony held around late October each year.
The award, which began in Pine Rivers in 2002 and is managed by the Rotary Club of Pine Rivers, is the community’s chance to highlight the many positive things that police officers in Pine Rivers do above and beyond the call of duty. The Police Stations involved are Dayboro, Petrie, Albany Creek, and North Lakes / Mango Hill. Any Police Officer based at these locations is eligible to be nominated.

You can nominate a police officer, male or female, and explain how that officer provided you with confidence, safety, defused a potentially dangerous situation, or helped you through a difficult time.
Each nominee receives a certificate recognising the contribution they have made to the Pine Rivers community. The winner has his or her name engraved on a perpetual trophy and also $500 courtesy of the Rotary Club of Pine Rivers to donate to the charity or charities of his or her choice.
The award is your chance to show your appreciation for police officers who have helped you at any time during the year.

The award also offers an opportunity to showcase the caring, positive side of a police officer's career.
